Direction to Sunrise Beach arriving from North (Birmingham)

We have tried several routes but the following seems to be our preferred.

Follow I65 South to I85 at Montgomery Follow I85 toward Atlanta.

Travel to Taylor Road Exit approximately (~) 9 miles.

Go South on Taylor Road for (~) 5 miles to Hwy 231.

Turn left onto Hwy 231 and go to Troy (~) 40.2 miles.

In Troy turn right onto Hwy 87 travel (~) 7.8 miles to Int. of Hwy 87 & 167.

Bear left onto Hwy 167 for (~) 20.5 miles turn right onto Hwy 51.

Hwy 51 for ~ 1.4 miles to Hwy 122, turn right.

Hwy 122 for ~ 2.7 miles to New Brockton at intersection straight onto Hwy 514.

Hwy 514 for ~ 7.5 miles to Hwy 87, turn left.

Hwy 87 for ~ 25.7 miles to Florida State line Hwy 87 then becomes Hwy 81.

Continue on Hwy 81 for ~ 19.9 miles to Ponce de Leon and bear right at “Y”.

Continue on Hwy 81 across Hwy 90 (DO NOT TURN ONTO HWY 90)

Continue on Hwy 81 for ~ 20.1 miles to Hwy 20 at Bruce, FL. Turn left.

Hwy 20 for ~ 5.7 miles to Hwy 79 at Ebro, Fl. Turn right.

Hwy 79 for ~ 15.6 miles to Hwy 98 (Back Beach Road), turn left.

Hwy 98 East for ~ 1.8 miles to Hills Road, turn right.

Hills Road for ~ .6 miles to end at Alt 98 (Front Beach Road) turn left.

Alt 98 (Front Beach Road) ~ .3 miles to Sunrise Beach.

Sunrise Beach is the high rise just past Sharkey’s and has a blue roof.

Parking entrance is West end of building.
